When the season changes some of us suffer from bloated stomach, digestion issues, heat burn, constipation etc. Specially in the season of wedding and outdoor events the problem is triggered. Stomach issues specially indigestion is worst and cause a lot of uneasiness.

But you need not worry about this because nature has given us many natural elements to cure indigestion.

GINGER

Ginger is nature’s gift to mankind and said to have numerous medicinal properties. Ginger is not only good for cold and cough but it can cure indigestion as well. The pungent elements of ginger react with the stomach acid and relives it. Ginger can be eaten in small capsule size cut out after meals. In fact candied ginger is easily available in market and it tastes good. You can brew a ginger tea if eating raw ginger is a task for you.

Camomile flowers are not only famous for its beauty but it is an age old treatment for indigestion is camomile tea. Camomile is really soothing and comforting. Camomile tea is known to soothe the intestinal track of your body. So sip two to three cups of camo tea every day to cope with indigestion.

Only few of us know that the plant consist laxative compounds like barbaloin, aloin and aloe emodin which has inflammatory effects on the inner lining of the GI tract. SLEEP ON YOUR SIDE

Indigestion is worst in the night due to acid reflux. Studies revealed that sleeping on your left side can save you from night heat burns. Sleeping on one’s back is also correlated with increased symptoms because it disrupts the flow of acids from the esophagus.

EAT SMALL MEALS

If you want to get rid of indigestion than eat small meals frequently. Don’t swallow all at one time. Incase there is a party or some event of outing try taking your favourite food in small portions.

HYDRATE YOURSELF

AVOID SPICY AND FRIED FOOD

If you are the victim of indigestion then fried fierce food is a big NO for you. Fired food takes longer to get digested. If you can’t completely avoid them then it is better at least not to consume them in the night. Foods like; Soda, beans, pulses, colas, coffee, protein rich food, cheese should be avoided in the night.
